Modern democracy is in crisis. Politics is divided into camps such as conservatives and progressives, and they are fighting each other to the extreme, falling into camp logic and antagonizing each other. This atmosphere in the political world is no different from general civil society. Even in a normal civil society, people divide each other into camps and take sides, and are hostile to those who do not belong to their camp, to the extent of being harshly cold and in some cases even abusive. Democracy cannot succeed in these circumstances. Therefore, for the success of democracy, citizens must have certain virtues.
